“Million Baby Crawl to Washington Sweepstakes”

To enter this Sweepstakes, you must agree to and abide by these Official Rules.

1. Sponsor:  Seventh Generation Inc., 60 Lake Street, Burlington, VT 05401 (“Sponsor”).
   
   
2. Administrator: LeadDog Marketing Group, 159 W. 25th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001 (“Administrator”).
   
   
3. Eligibility: The “Million Baby Crawl to Washington Sweepstakes” ("Sweepstakes") is open only to residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., who are at least 18 years of age and who have an active e-mail account and Internet access at the beginning of the Sweepstakes. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Sponsor, Administrator, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prizes, developing/ implementing the “Million Baby Crawl” event, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter.  "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live.  "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year, whether related or not.  Potential winners may be required to provide proof of U.S. residency upon request prior to prize award.  Void where prohibited by law.
   
   
4. Sweepstakes Schedule: The Sweepstakes begins on or about 12:00:01 a.m. ET on 10/15/09 and ends 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 12/31/09 (“Promotion Period”).  Administrator’s computer is the official clock for the Sweepstakes.
   
   
5. How to Enter:  To enter, navigate the Internet to www.millionbabycrawl.com (the “Website”) and register a “crawler page”.  All participants registering a “crawler page” (and who check the opt-in box agreeing to these Official Rules) during the Promotion Period will receive one automatic entry into the Sweepstakes drawing. All required information on the crawler page (including name & email address) must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win.  Incomplete entries will be disqualified.  Proof of entering information at the Website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of such entry.  You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails from Sponsor. Consenting to receive promotional or reminder e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed upon in order to be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. In the event you do consent to receive these e-mails, the use of such e-mails shall be subject to the privacy policy of http://www.seventhgeneration.com/privacy and you may opt out of receiving these e-mails at any time.
   
   “Tell-a-Friend” - entrants will receive one (1) additional Sweepstakes entry (up to a maximum of 50 additional entries) for each valid and unique friend that supports your crawler page. Each friend must submit his/her email address on your crawler page during the Promotion Period for you to receive a valid entry. A “friend” must be personally known to you. Each email address may only be used once; if a person has more than (1) email address, only (1) of such person’s email addresses may be provided.
   
   Multiple entries in excess of the limitations detailed above or mass entry attempts will result in disqualification of all entries by such person.  Entries must be manually key-stroked; use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.
   
   
6. Random Drawing/Selection of Winners:  Prize winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period on or about 01/04/10.
   Random drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
   
   
7. Prizes, Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") and Odds:  GRAND PRIZE (5): Each Grand Prize winner will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for four (2-adults/2-children) to Washington, DC where winner will have an opportunity to participate in the “Million Baby Crawl to Washington” presentation to the U.S. Congress. Grand Prize winner will receive roundtrip economy class air transportation for four (4) from a major commercial airport near their residence to Washington, DC; 2-nights’ standard hotel accommodations (one room, quadruple occupancy) in a hotel of Sponsor’s choice in Washington, DC or the surrounding area, round-trip ground transportation between Washington, DC area airport and hotel; and $500 spending money. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Approximate Retail Value of each Grand Prize: $4,000.00.
   
   Actual final value of trip may be higher or lower based on point of departure and ticket and hotel availability and cost at time of purchase.  Grand Prize Winner must be available to travel on or about January 2010 (schedule subject to change at Sponsor’s sole discretion).  If winner cannot travel for any reason on dates specified by Sponsor prize must be forfeited (without compensation) and Grand Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected alternate winner. If event is cancelled for any reason, Sponsor’s liability shall be limited to awarding the other elements of Grand Prize.     
   
   Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to meals, beverages, tips, taxes and hotel incidentals. Grand Prize Winner and both guests must travel together on specified itinerary, including same departure date, destination and return date or Grand Prize may be forfeited in its entirety.  All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability and Sponsor’s approval.  Sponsor is not liable for any expenses or missed Prize elements resulting from flight cancellation/delay.  Grand Prize winner and guests are solely responsible for any travel documentation and related requirements and for determining applicable procedures and restrictions.  The Grand Prize winner may be required to present a valid photo ID and/or credit card at the airport and at the hotel at the time of check-in.  Winner and guests must provide own transportation to and from departure airport. Guests of Grand Prize winner (for child guest, his/her parent or legal guardian) must sign and return a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where legal) prior to issuance of travel documents. For child guest, either the Grand Prize winner or the adult guest of Grand Prize winner must be his/her parent or legal guardian. If Grand Prize winner lives within approximately 150 miles of Washington, DC (as calculated by Sponsor in its sole discretion), Grand Prize winner will receive ground transportation in lieu or air transportation; and, winner will not receive any substitute prize or compensation in conjunction with such prize substitution. 
   
   Total Approximate Retail Value of all Sweepstakes prizes: $20,000.00.
   
   
8. Additional Prize Restrictions: No substitution or transfer of prize except with Sponsor’s permission or where required by law. Sponsor in its sole discretion may award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable for any reason at time of awarding. Prize will only be delivered to address within the United States. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting actual value of prize.  Limit of one (1) prize per person or household.
   
   
9. Winner Notification: Each potential winner will be notified by e-mail and/or phone.  Failure to respond to the initial verification e-mail within two (2) business days after notification or return of e-mail notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts will result in disqualification. Winner will be required to sign and return within three (3) business days of notification an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law. If the Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification and Publicity Release is not returned to Sponsor within specified time period, potential winner may be disqualified. If winner is disqualified for any reason, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries received.  In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting e-mail account. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
   
   The Promotion Entities are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Sweepstakes (or any part of Sweepstakes) is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond Sponsor's control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (or any part thereof), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and/or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Tampering includes but is not limited to providing the email address of someone who is not personally known to you.  In such event, Sponsor shall conduct the Sweepstakes and award the prizes by means of a drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or otherwise award the prizes in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of cancellation/termination/ modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on the website.  No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes.
   
   Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
   
   
10. Conditions and Limitations of Liability: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects.  By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Promotion Entities, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of the prize.  By entering, entrants also authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information (if applicable), biographical data and city and state of residence in programming, advertising and/or promotional material or on a winner's list (if applicable) without compensation to the extent permitted by law.  Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without obligation or compensation. Sweepstakes subject to the laws of the United States only. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All submissions become the property of Seventh Generation and will not be acknowledged.
    
    
11. Governing Law: Sweepstakes subject to the laws of the United States only.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  The Sweepstakes and Official Rules are interpreted by the laws of Vermont, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
    All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and/or Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Vermont.
    
    
12. Winners List: For the names of winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “Million Baby Crawl to Washington Sweepstakes Winner’s”, c/o LeadDog Marketing Group, 159 W. 25th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001, no later than 2/26/10.
